Is it too late to Prune

I am in Western Wisconsin and they do not seem really active yet. But I have not checked them in the last week for buds. We have had little rain so things are slow.

Is it too late to Prune

Winter got a way from me this year. I meant to prune months ago. I have 4 small vines that should be pruned (3rd year.) Is it too late? I don't want to harm the vines.

    WineXpert Chocolate Rasberry Port

Just bottled last sunday. Taste very sweet and very chocolate. But for our taste we really like it. brought up a bottle of our Port we made last year. It was not very good until we decanted it. Still needs some aging. Light but had some good flavor.

Book on Growing grapes and making wine!

Did you get the ebook or is there a hardcovered version. I do a little better with a book, I don't like to read on the computer too much. I am bit old fashioned. But it sounds like a good book.

    WineXpert Chocolate Rasberry Port

Wade I am still new at this. What do you suggest I do next. Should I stir it up and then wait a couple of day to see if it changes or do I move on to the next step? What is the best way to degas it?

    First time grape wine

It cleared red. Not as purple as the year before but not an off looking color either

    First time grape wine

Yes it is normal with a concord. Mine this year stayed a really nice purple color but mine last year changed to a more brown color. Last years batch cleared just fine. We sweeten ours at the end a little bit too.
