    Cellar Craft Ferrari Bottle filler

    From a 1 gallon glass carboy I syphon my wine into a 1 gallon plastic water bottle and then pour from this via a funnel into my bottles. No messing with taps or sqeezing tubes to stop the flow and it seems to work well. texteditor.

    Thanks for that Big jeff, so is this wine destined to be drunk cloudy or can he add the pectolase and clear it, I have sent him a load of chemicals including pectolase and finings but it wont reach him for a fortnight. I can't see him pouring it away! texteditor.

    A friend of mine (it really is!) in Saudi has just brewed some worzle's orange wine but reckons it's not clearing, the only difference I can find between our ingredients is his orange juice has calcium in it, I think it'sadded, could this cause cloudiness? thanks, texteditor.

    I put on a batch of zuccini wine three days ago: 12 lb zuccini 4-1/2 lb sugar 4 oranges 4 lemons 2 oz ginger 1 camden tablet water to 3 gallons I have added three lots of yeast so far and fermentation has not started. Any ideas? texteditor. I posted the above this morning. texteditor.

    please read my post "three days ago" I'm not just adding yeast and calling it wine. It was a recipe found on a winemaking site. Normally, Tom, from what I've seen on this site your'e quite helpful. texteditor.

    Did not do an SG First lot of yeast I pitched dry into the bucket Second lot I mixed with warm water and yeast nutrient Third lot I mixed with warm water and sugar I added i teaspoon of yeast nutrient to the initial must texteditor.

    Re-using bottles and Removing the labels

    I stick my labels on top of the previous label, when the bottles get too big to go in my wine racks I may think of removing the labels. texteditor.
