  • I know it's been ages since we spoke. My fault. New business has kept me busy but starting to take off.

    Just wanted to give you a heads up if I gave you a bottle of choke cherry wine it's good but reports say it creates gas in folks. Marilyn even got cleaned out.

    May want to drink small amounts at a time.

    Hi Sarah,

    I hope you're doing well, and that your wine making is all positive.

    This is an exciting season for me, being my first stab at Caber-sauv.

    I've gotten to know a fellow who operates a vineyard/winery that is just 30 minutes from our place. I've been able to see the whole picking and processing activities. It's been great to watch and have 12 gallons of Cab sauv picked while I was there. I hope that my contacts will be one that I can tap into next season and on into the future. My SG is hovering just above 1.000 and may verywell press this weekend.

    I've got several other wines going, jalapeno/mint (made with fresh apple cider) and scuppernog wine. Both are coming along just fine and are clearing nicely.
