    This is from a 2013 Cabernet that I bottled around this time last year. Do you guys this this is too much of a seepage issue for a years worth of storage? It's a bi-disk cork which I know isn't great for super long term aging but a year seems kind of short.

    That was what the vendor said too haha. I did pull it out to check. It's missing. So I called them. Hopefully they can source one....do they usually just replace the whole kit or the fpack?

    H2s

    I just had an issue with h2s and added the proper amount and then add the proper amount of ascorbic acid. That took care of it in an hour. It was amazing!

    From fallbright outside dundee ny and it is $19 a gallon....there is one winery around here that picks their late harvest at 27 brix so it's not too far off

    I will be picking up 6 gallons of late harvest vignoles when the rest of my grape and juice order is ready to be picked up close to the end of the month. They posted the brix of the juice which was at 25 almost 26 brix. I am thinking this is pretty low for a late harvest wine, most in my area...
