    rye wine

    We were just given a bunch of fresh rye. I am going to grind some of it to make bread, but is there any recipe for wine from this grain? Would love some imput. Have a batch of sweet corn wine going right now. Pretty tasty stuff at this point!!!!!

    No, actually, we have never made a kit wine. We either grow or pick our own ingredients. The wines we have not had this happen to us, have been wines made out of vegetables, so I think it must have something to with the sugar content also. I appreciate all the input I'm getting, and knowing...

    Different wines We have made onion, jalapeno, and green tomato. They are all very good. I have used the onion and jalapeno for cooking and pickling fish. My husband enjoys a glass of jalapeno in the evening. I'm growing beets in my garden this year, to try a batch of beet wine. Stephanie
