Yes, it falls under advertising. retailers and car dealers have been doing it for years. And not out of the goodness of their heart.

I'd love to see an All in one pump. I loaned mine to my daughter and doubt I will ever see it again. Or even bottle washer. Need a new one of those too.

Joes those pictures are great! It's so hard to imagine anything in this country that has been around 600 years. Thanks for sharing, my friend.

    WMT (Unofficial) Mist Wine Contest

I would also like to thank the academy for the ribbon and taking the time to judge and put your health at risk. The note was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Although I took 4th place, I will proudly display it on a sample bottle. After all, no one needs to know there were only 4...

    All in One Headspace Eliminator

I was lucky enough to be a part of trial testing on this neat little device and I am REALLY impressed. I can not believe how well it has held it's original vacuum. I put these on 2 different carboys back on March 25th and both are going strong with no loss of suction. Both wines were in the...

    WMT (Unofficial) Mist Wine Contest

Congrats Richmke! That's a lot of points. I'm not surprised at my score. I think I'll stick to making wines I would actually drink. [emoji4]

Just a heads up, that's Easter weekend. Might be good or bad depending on your religion, lol.

    Vintners Harvest Fruit Base

I have used the black current and am doing the Elderberry right now. Both batches were 3 gal and have tons of flavor. I don't know if I would try it as a one gal, they are pretty stout.

Thank you Jack. The wine club sounds pretty active. Although I can't make the February meeting but I may be able to do March. Hope to see you then.

WineXpert Eclipse Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay, to tweak or not to tweak

SInce I like to bake as well as make wine, I have used organic on occasion in my wine. I have never noticed a nutty or molasses flavor. Organic sugar can still be white sugar, it's just not as refined and grown without pesticides. Molasses it not added. To the contrary, the natural molasses is...

Hi Jack, so glad you joined us. I have been a fan since I started winemaking in 2013. I currently have several of your recipes in bottles. If and when you get a spare min, try searching Wine of the Month threads. Many of is here have used and posted our progress from your wines. Some with...

    New to wine making

Hi Patrick. Welcome to WMT. Lots of good people here to help if you need it. I grew up in Piqua Oh, about 50 miles East of Columbus. I now live in S. Texas so I can't really recommend a local shop for you, but we have quite a few OH winemakers that can probably chime in. If you want a road...

WineXpert Just ordered Two Kits Thoughts on them

Funny you should mention the Enigma. I was just pondering using it to top off a Shiraz this morning. I made the kit in October 2014 and it is a pretty good, dry red wine. Lots of dark fruit and some vanilla up front. It is supposed to be a comparable wine to the commercial one called Apothic...

    WMT (Unofficial) Mist Wine Contest

A new full-size bottle was just dropped off at the local FedEx location. It has a fragile sticker on it, and the inner box is a wine club bottle cradle. If this one doesn't get there safely, I'm coming after you @joeswine. Lol
