    Fower/blossom/herb wine enthusiast

Thank you for this post. I posted a few days ago about Hibiscus flowers because I am not sure if the flower petals have to be dehydrated for winemaking or not. I have my Hibiscus flowers harvested and ready but I don't know how to proceed from there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hibiscus Petals For Winemaking

Has anyone made Hibiscus wine by boiling the Roselle Hibiscus petals and pods (not dehydrated) from the Hibiscus plant as opposed to using the dehydrated Roselle Hibiscus flowers? Does it matter either way? And what yeast should be used when making Hibiscus wine? This will be my first time...

    Hibiscus Wine Yeast

That is an awesome idea to make identical 2 batches. I would have never thought about that. I will do exactly as you have suggested. I will let you know how it turns out. Thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate that.

    Hibiscus Wine Yeast

This is my 1st time making Hibiscus wine from dehydrated petals. I have searched and watched videos but I'm still unsure of what yeast to use for Hibiscus wine. I'm looking for a very sweet wine with high alcohol content. Thank you for any suggestions.

viable way to crush "thick-hulled" muscadines?

That's actually a great idea. Can probably buy a cheap pair of shoes or whatever and clean them off and sanitize them and then stomp on the the fruit. And keep the shoes clean and sanitized after every stomp and store away until the next time. I think I will try this. Thank you for sharing...
