    I did rack it last night! the semi-sweet will be ok because I am going to add a strawberry/kiwi flavoring at the end :) the alcohol should be around 8% usually I get a 12% Thanks for your help

    The starting SG was 1.070 I didn't use a yeast I used a slurry from another batch and added yeast energizer and nutrients like the recipe call for I added more energizer and nutrients after 3 days the SG is still 1.010 so im going rack it this evening and let clear

    I have a batch that the gravity has been at 1.010 for almost week and half I have stirred it several times to intro some oxygen. What can I do to get the gravity lower? or should I just transfer it to the carboy and add the finishing products

    I have some original recipe skeeter pee and a cranberry lime and a dragon blood with white particles floating in them. I add 1/2 tsp Kmeta, 2 1/2 tsp sorbate, and Sparkolliod and let them sit for two weeks they were very clear filtered them at bottling. Taste is wonderful any ideas what could be...

    1) Taste of the kit? 2)This is the first kit I have ever done where there was no secondary fermentation in the carboy is this normal for there kits? 3) It says to wait till day 42 to bottle I'm at day 35 and is clear and I'm going to filter it with Buon Vino. Would it be ok to go ahead and bottle?

    Thanks for the reply I did stabilize the wine first then drew some samples and then added (sugar free) grape juice will bottle this weekend and let you know how it turned out

    I have a Sauvignon Blanc ready to be stabilized and bottled. Kim Crawford has a Sauvignon Blanc that has a slight grape taste so I was wanting to know could I add some white grape juice after adding my stabilizer and topping off to achieve this taste?

    Sorry for hacking this thread but i have question :ot:i have a Sauv Blanc in primary fermemtation stage. There is a Sauv Blanc that i like with a slight grape flavor can i add some grape juice at the clearing stage to get this taste?
