Hello, I have not been making anything for the last few years and when I went to get check my stuff to get back into it there was what appears to mold on some of my equipment. Is there anyway to get rid of said mold or should I just go ahead and buy new stuff?

ok everything arrived and the wine is stabilized and in the process of clearing, already a lot of sediment in the bottom of the carboy. shouldnt be long now till i bottle (not planning on letting this one age, just something to drink while i make the next one). -dan-

also what do you use on top of the carboy when you vacuum degas, is it just a regular drilled stopper? i would be afraid if the suction was to much it could suck it in, or am i just paranoid? -dan-
