Make sure to set aside enough time. Not that it takes long just make sure you don't rush the process. That has been my mistake. :/ I too am new and have had a lot of questions answered on here :D Good luck and welcome!

I used K-meta. I put some in a spray bottle and spray everything down to sanitize. My bf uses Idophor for his beer brewing. They told us at our local brew shop that it is a stronger sanitizer (it kills more bacteria). They said it wasn't necessary to use a sanitizer that strong for wine.

It is a very alcoholic i feel like. It was the Chilean Merolt kit. My bf keeps telling me that it will taste better after it ages a bit. Thanks for the help Omerta. :D

Yeah, I didn't quite know what I was doing either. My wine tastes a little off though... could this be from the O2. I think it will improve with age?? This was my first kit and I don't quite know what it is supposed to taste like I guess.

So if I whiped my wine too much and introduced too much O2 is there any saving my wine at that point???

lol... Mine was super lazy! And anyone who walked in the door was there to see him. You would come in and sit on the couch and he was there in .2 seconds! He was spoiled! That is crazy! A moose! Your cat had balls! lol

I had a cat that just died about a year ago. :( He was 17 or 18. I want to get a Maine Coon though! They are huge!
