Label I made last night for my first ever batch of wine, after finally deciding on a 'name' for our wine! Reeko Bay...after our dog Reeko (pictured) and our love for the Bay!
I was hoping there was a 'slow down', too! Already bought a second bucket and carboy last week to get the second batch going.....I started my first batch not even a month ago!! Is it bad I'm looking forward to getting home from vacation (that hasn't even started yet) to start another batch???
Thanks so much. I may see if I can find some glass marbles. This is my first batch so I don't have any I've already made...and don't want to add wine (that's not mine) to it...just doesn't seem like it'd be the same!
Just racked my first batch again to get rid of all the sediment at the bottom. Of course had to steal a glass to try it out..yum. Per kit instructions it should be almost ready to bottle, but we figure a little longer can only help :h
Thanks for the quick responses, guys. Our SG was pretty much 1.100 on the money :ib Wish I would've seen cmason's response before we started! Oh well, live & learn. If we top up after fermentation with more juice versus water do you think that'll help a bit?

Well, first batch isn't even done clearing yet and my husband and I came home with a new primary fermenter, carboy, and all the ingredients to make up some Welch's Concord Wine..Concord is his favorite so after reading about it on here I figured we should give it a shot. Got the bug...
