I started drinking wine four years ago. Prior to becoming a member of the civilized world, my favorite drink was Cherry Dr. Pepper. My wife is WAY more cultured than I am, so, during our courtship, I learned about exotic new cheeses and the difference between the fork with the long tines and the short stubby ones. Then, of course, there was wine.

My favorite wines have a lot of mule kick. Most of what I drink is true Zin. It strikes me as the type of wine that, were it a person, would be Charles Bronson in "Hard Times", or Robert Mitchum in just about any Robert Mitchum movie.
