Norman Hardie Winery talk about water monitoring

Norman Hardie is a small (<5,000 cases per year) winery in Prince Edward County, Ontario. I helped them install some low-cost water meters about a year and a half ago, here they are talking about the experience and the value they've gotten from monitoring their water use...

    UV Light for Sanitizing Tanks

I came across an interesting approach to tank sanitation seems to save a fair amount of water and labour. Talked to the suppliers and some of the wineries that tried it out and thought it might be of interest to people here. If you have any additional questions, let me know and I can try and...

    Beginning a Winery

That sounds like it would be a really nice building. I know some people who are in heritage buildings. They all seem to complain about "legacy issues" that makes installing things or operating more difficult, but I haven't heard one who would give up a beautiful old building to avoid those...

    Beginning a Winery

Do you have any tips for the design/construction of wineries to save energy/water down the road? I've heard of some things like epoxying floors to make cleaning easier or buying tanks that don't have hard-to-clean areas. Anything else that would help reduce water use?
