    Mosti Mondiale Question: Original All-Juice vs. Renaissance

    The first batch I made was the Renaissance Chianti and its only about two months old, but it came pretty darn good. The main red that I drank before I started making wine was Chianti, and I feel the Renaissance is extremely good already.

    So how bad is this?

    I did it on the first batch I made, it wasa Chianti with raisins, and it actually floated to the top of the must with the raisins. I asked the same question and was given many assurances that it was no big deal.

    Good news/bad news The bad news is that even though I wanted to bulk age, I caved in and bottled my MM Chianti and MM Pinot Grigio. (photos to come) The good news is that even though I gave in, I haven't opened any yet.

    6 Gallons MM Chianti bulk aging 6 Gallons MM Pinot Grigio bulk aging 6 Gallons Black Raspberry Merlot ready to bottle and last but not least, 3 Gallons of the Chocolate Raspberry Port in the primary.

    I never shipped wine, but have shipped other seriously fragile items, and a substantial amount of bubble wrap usually works really well.
