    well as for the ones I have listed in my sig . I plan on a 5 gal or 2 1gl batches of Pom 5gal of cranberry 5 gal of Blackberry(From Puree) and at least one or two Island Mist

    air exposure to wine

    Not sure but I believe this is a common experince, and that is why the big reds are decanted before serving. Am I wrong ?

    I started because my wife got me started on it 3 christmas ago. She had been watching me do an old apple cider recipe for a bout 5 years(Hard Cider) She knew I enjoyed that and so she surprised me with a 1gl starter kit. I dont think she realized at the time what a monster she had created

    I still have one or 2 batches of Pom to do. What recipes did you 2 use? As for the avatar, thats my lil wine making helper. that pic was tekemn when he about 7months old.Now hes a year and a 1/2 and twice as big. But he is always by myside.

    Yes I like to think I am in teh know of whats going on in the produce Biz. My suggestion to any of you who make country wines. Get to know your Produce manager.He can probably set you up with some Sweeeet deals .

    Oh don't get me wrong I have done quite a few 6 and 5 gal batches. It just happens right now that I have a bunch of singles goiung trying different things :)

    so far I have held on to the last bottle of each batch. Wating for a special occasions thing:) Although someone who just opend my 2004 Strawberry said it was wimmpy. I havent opened this bottle yet. so I dont know.

    Bottle Cleaning Marathon

    Hi all Newbie to the forum here. I have found a great way to get the labels off bottles. Soak in hot soapy water and then use one of the Mr Clean Magic pads, They work so easy and gets all the glue residue off too . No harsh chemicals and no razor blades.
