    Backsweetening

    I have a wine I made with fresh fruit and berries. it has fermented down below an SG of 1.00. What store bought juice could I use to add some flavor and sweetness? Is this going to decrease the alcohol content if I add a gallon of juice to my 3 gallons of wine? thank you!

    Diabetic????

    Is it possible to use an artificial sugar instead of real sugar? Or could I use a juice sweetened with Splenda or similar to make a juice wine? would that work?

    Do you have to use this in every batch at the end? What does it do? Do crushed campden tablets do the same thing? What if my kit doesnt call for any of this, do I do it anyways? Thanks!

    Ruined Batch???????

    I have a batch of grape concentrate going right now. It was started on October 25th. SG was great! On November 5th my sg was 1.08. On November 17th the SG was at .996. I added the bentonite to begin clearing the wine before I added the potassium sorbate. Did I screw up? Is this ok? Thanks!

    Sanitation

    I have read online and book after book how important sanitation is for wine and beer making. Is rinsing everything in extremely hot water adequate or do I need to use a wash made for sanitizing?
