    OK, did anothen 5 minute stur with the power drill....took SG and it was 1026???? This is the fastest fermintation I have ever seen. Temp is a steady 72. Time will tell

    I sturred it with a power drill for a good 5 minutes, but I pored the sugar in a bit at a time while using the drill. I will give it a good sturring again tonight and see what I get for a reading. Thanks

    I've had them drop 15-20 overnight but never that much. Will take another reading in the morning.

    I just started a Bach of blackberry/current. All was great, had a starting sg of 1091, 36 hours latter I'm reading 1043, I have never had one drop this fast. Has anyone ever seen this?????

    Just botteled my Apple and Pear wine

    They were both 5 gallon batches, I also did a 2 gallon batch of apple and added cinnamon sticks the last rack and let them sit for a month and they came out real nice.

    THEY TASTE GREAT :br I know they are better if left for a year but it will be hard to let them sit for that long !!!!!! when chilled and sitting out on the deck on a hot day they were so good, this wine making is so much fun:se

    What to do with 5 gallons of Rhubarb juice ?

    Sorry it has taken so long to get back to my post, had to make 2 trips to Alaska and now I am playing catch up. So I went and got 15 pounds of fresh strawberry's and put them through my steamer and got about 1.5 gallons of juice and a coffee can of pulp that is in the freezer. What do you think...

    I added more sugar to get the alcohol level up, while it was fermenting it was in a temp controlled box kept at about 75 deg. It was moved to the cellar after it was done working.
