    Enough Sugar for Cranberry Wine?

I make cranberry wine a lot and I have never added any nutrients and it always starts up just fine within 24 hours. Just make sure that it's worm enough like Deezil said.

    Putting Labels On Straight

Besides putting an addition on my house everybody and there brother has been wanting cabinets made. Not complaining though, I'll take the work when I can get it. I've been working 7 days a week anywhere from 10 to 14 hours a day. I lurk around here every once in a while to see what everyone has...

    Glycerin and clearing

I've never had glycerin cloud up my wine. Did you stir your wine after adding the glycerin? If you did maybe there was a fine settling of dust on the bottom that got stirred up. It should settle back down but it might take a few weeks.

Packlab What ever happened to the vino italiano moscato kits?

That's the kit I'm trying right now. It is very good but it's also more than twice the price of the vino italiano.

Packlab What ever happened to the vino italiano moscato kits?

I wish I knew. That was one of my favorite kits, especially when mixed with cranberry.

Is there a substitute for Chitosan?

I've heard of using egg whites, although I haven't tried it myself. Maybe someone who has will chime in here.

I think that I might have misinterpreted your question at first joeswine. The MASTER TASTE to me is the moscato up front and finishing with the cranberry. We were sampling some last night and my wife said she thought it tasted like cherry wine. After she said that I had to sample some more :dg...

The blend was 75% moscato and 25% cranberry. At first we tried a 50/50 blend but it was a little heavy on the cranberry.

My wife actually makes up the labels, she uses Page Maker. I just use standard paper in my printer. With that adhesive they will stay attached even if you soak them in water overnight. They do come off easily though, all I have to do is scrape them with my fingernails and they come right off.
