    I can't see how it would have any effect. You are only pulling a vacuum in the top of the
    carboy and it stays sealed. It is not a continuous flow.

    If you want to be accurate or have the need to be a purist, Burgundy bottles are for Pinot Noir
    or Chardonnay; Burgundy style wines.

    My labels come off ok , it's the commercial ones. Both front and back make twice as much work.
