I can't see how it would have any effect. You are only pulling a vacuum in the top of the
carboy and it stays sealed. It is not a continuous flow.

Stop moving it! White wine has very fine lees. It would be powder if allowed to dry. Everytime
you move it the finest lees go back into solution and become difficult to settle. White wine

If you want to be accurate or have the need to be a purist, Burgundy bottles are for Pinot Noir
or Chardonnay; Burgundy style wines.
