Hello, We bought our house 3 years ago (before we started making wine) and the last owner who made wine had these wine grapes growing on the shed. They told us they made wine every year from the grapes. Can anyone tell me what variety they are? We would like to try using them. Thank You.

Hello, I started on a my first strawberry/rhubarb recipe and will be adding the yeast tomorrow and the instructions say to punch down the cap twice a day for 5-7 days afterwards. My question is I am using a straining bag so will it still be necessary do this? I have only made kit wines so far...

It's day 21 and still waiting for the SG to drop below 0.995 like the day 14 instructions said. It has slowly dropped from 0.998 on day 14 to 0.996 today (day 21). It seems strange to me that when I take a sample from the carboy with the thief that I can see really small bubbles almost like it...

Ya its kind of a strange kit, just before bottling you split it in half and then add the two different flavour packs (lemon and strawberry) so it makes 15 bottles of each. It was on clearance for $25 so figured why not!
