Well it's been quite a while - maybe over a year of bulk aging? I have to check my
notes.Bottled - chardonnay, a white (again, note fell off the carboy but it's in the computer)
    and a merlot. Might dr...

I haven't opened a bottle in many months. I'll have to give one a try and let you know how it
is now. I would have to dig out my notes to check on any readings I may have taken.I remember
    it being nic...

Stop & shop gets $2lb for table grapes so if that doesn't seem bad. That's only $1 extra per

    4 week kits.

Cool thanks. I have some computers that I was about to get rid of too. And about 20 hard drive
magnets - that's how I wipe drives for clients. More fun than a program....

  • Posted in thread: Survey: vacuum chamber for wine degassing on 03-29-2013 at 11:11 AM
I use about 20-25" and it only takes at most 10 minutes to degas. How much faster could it
take? I have no idea why anyone would let it run for days. Sometimes I think I am overdoing it
    too once those...

I am going to give this one a try. Thanks

  • Posted in thread: Which sink? on 03-26-2013 at 12:27 PM
Double sinks would be great. Love the hose idea too. I have one like your plastic one and the
faucet is just a couple inches to short to make it easy. I always have to tip the carboys or
    buckets to ge...
