    Fun Wine Video

Awesome video, we need to forward this to everybody we know. At the very least they'll come to understand the languages of wine. Oh, and John Cleese should live to be 800 years old, I think his talent is that important to the human race. Frank

    Interesting Observation

Prolly a function of the granular surface (even as smooth as is appears) and an ionic attraction between the clay and the marbles. Perry's Handbook for Chemical Engineers can explain it in nauseating detail if you can lay hands on one (about three hundred bucks at amazon). Frank

Just started the Apple/Jalapeño wine myself, added about a cup of golden raisins macerated in a bit of vanilla for additional complexity. The peppers were seeded and de-veined. I'll pitch the yeast tonight. I think we have a winner here. Frank "You have attributed conditions to villainy...

    ML01

Folks, You might want to Google ML01 yeast, it's a genetically modified yeast strain that accomplishes fermentation and MLF at the same time. Frank Denton, Texas

    One of my labels

No hog farm here, it's kind of a strange marriage of a couple of my other hobbies. I build rockets, collect ceramic piggies, and when making wine, I'm in heaven. You know pigs are FAR smarter than horses, right? I mean, truffles are proof of that, right? Frank Denton, Texas

    Labels: Where do I start?

If one wants to really get into the label making thing download GIMP. It's the best image tool out there, and it free. There are versions for UNIX and Windows. I created this label with it (my first attempt). Frank
