Hi Mike, a couple of us have posted on this kit before, and agreed that it as an odd...not so yummy...artificial taste. I actually ended up dumping all of it out. Even after letting it sit bottled for a few months. But then everyone's taste is different.

When I backsweeten the WineExpert Muscato, I let it clear fully, then I made a simple syrup (boiled 1 cup of water with two cups of sugar), then added it to the carboy once it cooled down. It made my cleared wine cloudy again, and I ended up having to add pectic enzyme to get it to clear. And it...

I just checked my notes, and I bottled the Muscat back in January. I'm going to have to open a bottle and see how it is now!
