Thanks for your tips for making the port. I think it is the way the batch may go. I have some leftover berries in the freezer and I think I may use them for making a juice/syrup. Did you have to use a preservative on them? Is there a risk of introducing any bacteria or nasties?
You know, the funny thing is that I sold off a bunch of extra carboys about a month ago. I will let you know if I need another one. I have to take stock once I get my basement back in order.

My starting SG for this kit was 1.088. Perhaps you have got a bad batch for one reason or another. Did you talk to the staff at the store where you bought the kit? I have found the boys at my usual location to be great for advice too and they also have a satisfaction gaurantee which...
