How can there be many versions of grade 5? If it were another version wouldn't it be a different grade.

You will be fine. I wouldn't leave it for months but an extra week or two won't hurt.

Canadians got the kit a few weeks before us. With that said this wine will need some time to age so it's too early to really get some good reviews on the final results of the product. With that said I wouldn't really tweak these kits. You buy them for what they are, limited editions. You pay...

Blackberry Cherry Cranberry

Started the kit. Added 4# of sugar and a couple large handfuls of raisins.

Racked to secondary. Current gravity reading is 1.05. ~10% alcohol.

Maybe it was Friday. Too much wine since then. Lol

1/2" racking canes are awesome. So much faster. Well worth the few dollars.

I have made this as is before. It is nice and does age well. Maybe I'll just do 4 lbs. of sugar to bump it to 10% and call it a day. I just finished the raspberry merlot and black cherry Pinot with 4 lbs of added sugar. Can't even tell its higher in alcohol. They are pretty good.
