I use the same set up just smaller pipe lots of holes works great no more clogs. :h

Usually get my pails & grapes at Corrado's but this year there was no Chilean so had to make the trek down to Gino Pinto's, like 2 or more hours for me and my brother in law and picked up Carmenere. I've never tried this before but the BIL recommended it. Another Big Red for me to love. :h

:u Last night opened a bottle of my 2014 Petite Syrah. Very good but not like the Chilean.

Opened a bottle of my 2015 Chilean Syrah. Couldn't believe how well it turned out. :h

Drinking the 2015 Nebbiolo. :h

Last weekend bottled the 2015 Nebbiolo. This weekend racked the 2016 Petite Syrah. :h

Never tried this. :?

I use a vented silicone in my barrel. :h

FWIW I used D47 in a batch of Pinot Grigio I made and was pretty happy with it but I've never done a side by side to see what the difference is.:h

I make wine, therefor I am. :h

This weekend bottled my Petite Syrah from last year. This was my first attempt at MLF and I'm sold. Also tried a BM4X4 yeast, me likey. :h
