    I've been printing labels on large mailing labels. What's everyone else using? I use plain
    paper---or parchment paper if I want it to look antiquey---then adhere them with a simple glue
    stick. They co...

    I am very pleased with the Washington Merlot. I started it last October (along with the Rosso
    Fortissimo), and it's been sitting quietly, getting delicious, in the carboy ever since. I
    wanted a nice r...

    Depends on the batch. Some of my wines come out of the primary with little gas in them at all.
    However, I made an apple-raspberry from concentrate once that took days of mulitple degassings
    to go flat...

    The rc212 is primarily for big reds. For that one, the "redder the better" is what they say. So
    not the rd212. I have used the Premier Curvee before with good results. It starts fast and is

Hay Dave I read your Dragon Blood Wine Post and it got me thinking. I have Not heard of anybody having very good luck with watermelon wine. Is it in your opinion a bad idea to use the dragon blood recipe and use watermelon juice
instead of water?

@lloyd

That would ceratinly be worth a try, Lloyd. I'd be curious to see what kind of watermelon flavor you could get from the juice. Watermelons are by nature...watery.
