Last night I bottled my first batch which I named strawberry margarita (fresh strawberries with some lime juice) and my third batch which I decided to try my own thing and it came out perfect!
When I found this site I felt like I struck gold I started reading so many threads and saw lots of information too much to take in at once and I love that everyone is so welcoming that's one thing I noticed about every crafting community I have joined tons of support across the board

Went to my nephews 3rd birthday party today, as I was leaving my awesome brother gave me a 5gal carboy and 7gal fermenter ! So much for waiting to upgrade. Also started a strawberry wine last night (my first batch)
Well the equipment kit I ordered has a 1 gallon fermenter bucket and 1 gallon carboy and there's not much around me in the ways of home brew stores so I figure at first I'll do 1 gallon and once it's ready to bottle I can decide on an upgrade or just keep doing 1 gallon batches for a little bit...
Thanks I have a knack for making things (cooking, baking, lots of crafts) so I know sometimes your first try is a jumping off point and it'll be a learning process but I enjoy that process and it's amazing to have found a great community just doing some research before I get my little toes wet
