    Ask someone at the homebrew store. The staff should be knowledgable and be able to help you. For a more immediate answer, Google it :)

    Worried that I did not sanitize properly before primary ferment

    I only use hot water to sanitize my equipment. I am on my 9th batch and i`ve never had a problem with bacteria\wild yeasts contamination... are all those chemicals really necessary? Seems like a wasted expense to me...

    Confused about the Carboy!!

    I think it just depends on your personal preference -glass or plastic. Glass is more economic (plastic is cheaper but won`t last as long as glass; plus plastic is polluting our oceans and killing wildlife), and regardless of what others say, all plastics leech chemicals, especially when boiling...

    First post here on the forums and a newb question

    I recently sampled some wine i made from concentrate, and i racked it into secondary vessel before the bubbles slowed completely.... it was delicious! I think you`re safe to rack after a week. I hope this helps :)
