Vineco New Passport 2017 limited editions

Yes, we just had a bottle last week! Much like you, we were a little underwhelmed when we bottled it at 6 months but it is really coming along. Just at the 10 month mark and we're very pleased :)

Question-Leaving for 5 Days and my kits aren't quite ready for carboys

Started 4 kits 10 days ago, 2 progressed just like all our previous kits (ready to rack by day 8/9) but 2 of our reds didn't. We're leaving for Vegas tomorrow for 5 days, can we rack to carboy and just not stabilize? SG's are at 1.002 and 1.000. TIA

    Other Red blend recommendation

We made our Mystic last July! It's still young so we're impatiently letting it age *sigh*...the bottles we've tried at 3 and 6 months are very promising though!! :)

Other New to kit wine making question about kits

I started with some of the fun, cheaper kits like Cheeky Monkey and Glad Hatter. They are quicker kits and helped me gain some confidence. They are also considered "early drinkers" so they helped fill my wine supply while I let the more expensive kits bulk age. One of our favorite whites is the...

Other 2017 Limited Releases: What Are You Making?

We did a wine tasting evening last week where they sampled wines similar to each of the 5 LE17 kits. This is the one they served that was comparable to the Vermentino. It was similar to a Pinot Grigio but with a deeper flavor if that makes sense? Save Save

"Tips and tricks to using a whole house filter"

I just filtered and bottled a couple of carboys of wine this morning using the all in one machine and it went really well. It was our first time using the filter and bottling part of the system so I had a few questions before we started. I went on to the website and left a question for Steve...
