I'm making edworts apfelwein which goes straight into the carboy. But i realized I overfilled it. I'm just going to take some out and hopefully that won't screw anything up
I wasn't paying attention and filled my carboy too high and my yeast ended up sticking to the walls of my carboy where the bung is. Will the yeast make its way down or do I need to scrape it off and mix it into my wine? Sorry if I sound like an idiot

Ok well unfortunately the guy helping me out at the brewing store told me wrong when he said it was fine to do. So is there nothing I can do to save this batch or am I going to have to toss it and remake a batch in a 5 gallon carboy?
Is it a problem to make 5 gallons of wine in a 6 gallon carboy? I'm making Apfelwein so I'm not sure if I should just top it off with juice (but on the other hand I don't want to water it down) or leave it at 5 gallons.
I'm new to wine making so this might be an extremely stupid question. When it says "add fining agent" what fining agent and how much should I use?
Thanks in advance.
