Default Bisulphite or SO2 ?

Hi there !

As molecular SO2 ( Free SO2 ) is responsible for anti-microbial activity , how can

a Bisulphite ( KHSO3 ) stock solution , which is NOT acidic , be used for sanitizing the equipment ?!

Hector

( ie..the most simple common denominator terms?)

I ask this for the very new here.. that may benefit from your experience. (I admit, you lost me with this post..)
