Any reason not to add Sparkolloid?

My strawberry wine is on it's second racking and is improving but still not clear enough. Is there any reason not to add Sparkolloid to help it along?

None that I can think of...but, I love that stuff! Cleared a plum wine that had been sitting for months and was still just murcky....36 hours later it was clear as bell, you read a newspaper through it.

Yes - it may not be degassed.

Any reason not to add Sparkolloid?
