I thought I was thru making wine for the year. Great apples, free and enough to make 60 bottles, O'Boy.

I bought a bound note book, and I'm going to start keeping accurate notes, and put an identifying code on the labels. Ive enough wine that a lot will be aged a couple or a few years. It will be nice to see what I did to make (good or bad) the wine I'll be drinking in 2019.

You are going to get 12gal. of wine out of 30lbs. of apples?

I'm not sure of the weight, a 5 gallon buckets worth.

Last time I did apple wine I used the 5 gallons with for 30 bottles. IMO to many, or an unnecessary amount.

Different recipes call for different amount, this is a little below one recipe, IF my 30lbs guess is accurate.

Weight yourself on your bathroom scale then pick up the bucket and weight yourself again. Subtract first from second and you will have a better idea of weight. I usually don't use the cores and de core before freezing and pressing. This would be a better time to weight.
