I've made a dry cherry wine. I'll be giving some to family & friends who I'm sure will prefer it to be sweeter. What's the best way to sweeten a wine after it's been bottled?

As has been stated, the obvious answer is just add sugar. Simple syrup will dissolve/blend easier though.

You can take a little wine add a teaspoon if sugar, nuke it for 30 seconds, stir to dissolve and add it back to the wine.

Sweeten with sugar to taste. If not sure, this might help.

Simple method
Bone dry. 0 tsp / 5 ounce glass
Dry. 0-1/2 tsp. / 5 ounce glass
Off dry. 1/2 - 1 tsp. / 5 ounce glass
Sweet. 1 - 4 tsp. / 5 ounce glass
Very sweet: 4+ tsp. / 5 ounce glass
