Oak alternative and bulk aging

I made a rose 5 gallon batch out of concord the flavor is a little thin which I expected. So it's been bulk ageing since say October and I decided to add medium toast oak chips to give it a little something more in the flavor area. Approximately 2 cups been in for 2 weeks is there any reason to remove oak ? Planning on ageing for another month or two.:?
 
I don't think there is, with the chips all of their flavor should all ready be extracted. I have left chips and spirals in my carboys for months and had no problems. Enjoy your wine.
