I was wondering about the sediment in my carboy... Saturday I put my must into the carboy and I didn't put the siphon all the way to the bottom but I see I have sediment on the bottom of my carboy, is this normal??

Yep! Not to worry. There's a lot of stuff that needs to settle out in your wine. The majority of it has been left behind but there will be more even after you rack a second time.

Sediment is important stuff when you rack from primary to carboy. It adds body, mouth, flavor and keeps your little yeasties happy.
