Citric acid taste in a red

I just did my second month tasting of the Sangiovese/Merlot blend. I'm really happy with how its turning out, but there's a citric acid (like lemon) type of taste. It's not enough to make your lips pucker like eating a sour patch kid, but it is pretty noticeable.

I'm sure it'll probably calm down in time, but is there any concern? I was thinking about picking up an acid testing kit anyway, so maybe that would tell me something?
