I just picked up the Selection Premium Pinot Noir yesterday and was wondering if anyone has made this one. If so, how is it?

I guess I should have asked that before purchasing it, but I figured it should be good. Thiswill be my 1st "higher end" kit, so I'm hoping it turns out good.

It is an excellent wine. Especially if it survives for a year. Had to hide my cases to make it last that long from my better half. But even at six months you could tell it was going to age nicely.

Ditto -- that was my first "high end" kit too, and it has received rave reviews and we are guarding what we have left closely!

Got her started tonight. I am really excited about this one. Smells and tastes wondefull. SG was actually closer to 1.088 even though it looks like 1.080-1.082 in the picture. I guess it was still bobbing a little when I took the shot.

And just think, it will only get better as it goes. You really won't be disappointed in this one.

Looks good and don't forget the pictures on each step.

I do have a question, How much alcohol will this end up being with 1.082?

Masta thank you. I have one more question. Why is the ABV
so low compared with the commercial wines you buy at 13% to
16%.

It all depends on your starting gravity and your finished gravity. You
could up the sugar to get a high abv but might throw off the balance of
the wine and void the warranty.

What does that mean "void the warranty". What warranty. How would one know you had a problem to exercise the warranty?
