I've read all the posts regarding storage problems and I've come to the
realization that I'm making far more wine and mead than I can consume.
After filling my small (?!?) 44-bottle wine rack, I had bottles sitting
in cardboard boxes, laying on the floor, and perched on shelves.

Soo, I was sitting at my computer with a glass of Tart Cherry Mead
looking at my book case full of encyclopedias that haven't been read in
years and thought, "What a great place for a few bottles of wine!"

Now my storage problem is temporarily abated, though a quick count
shows there's another 21 gallons in a variety of carboys awaiting
bottling in the next 2-3 months. However, I discovered that the local
Goodwill doesn't take encyclopedias. Now the backseat of my Honda is
full of books!

Cool....the bottles of wine look much better than a bunch of old books!

Or...If those bottles could talk, There is now a set of encylopedias worth of information on wine making now in those shelves

There's a reason why there's no latin expression:

In encylopedias veritas.

It's in vino veritas!

- Ever
since I saw the quote displayed in various scenes in Triplets of
Belleville, I knew I had to use it! Actually, the only reason I joined
the forum was because it was a pefect opportunity to add it as a
signature file!
