I started the island mist blueberry pinot noir about a week ago. Anyway I wanted to add suger to raise the alcahol level but i forgot to add the suger . Is there anything I can do to raise it before I rack it to the carboy. Thanks for any advice.

Dissolve 4-5# sugar in a quart of water, heating it to almost a boil to completely dissolve. Let it cool back down to about 75 degrees and add to the blueberry pinot noir and give it a gentle stir to mix up the lees. Keep where it fermented and let it start up for a couple days. Then transfer to secondary at normal time or SG. That will kick it up to about 12% ABV.
