Cold soaking your white grapes?

More specifically LaCrescent. As I'm in full prep mode for this wk-end. I'm wondering what the general consensus is amongst you experienced wine makers.

Yay or nay on cold soaking?

Reds? No. I only cold soak my whites.

I would be cautious with cold-soaking La Crescent. In my experience, the MN hybrids tend to have herbaceous flavors that can quickly become unpleasant when cold soaked for too long.

And, you are lucky to have La Crescent! There isn't a LC grape to be found this year over here.
