I have done a carrot wine using the ccj Berry recipe 4 months ago, seems to be still fermenting after all this time and my hydrometer is reading 20, whats occurring???
 
Please post up your complete recipe and what procedures you have already done. And are you reading the balling on your hydrometer?
 
I find that many of the ccj Berry recipes are high alcohol and high sugar. The long ferment could be due to a high starting SG. Carrots may also be somewhat devoid of natural nutrients for wine yeast.
