I've been cleaning and scraping my bottles, and thankfully have to say, I can't keep up.
But back to this thread.
I've noticed that ALL the screw top 1.5 liter bottles I'm getting is California wine,,, with no year on the bottle.
Does this mean it's most likely a very young wine and more likely a house wine.
I seem to get a lot of Copper Ridge. Cab Sav., Chard., Merlot, White Zin., they are all in these screw tops and have no date on the bottle.
The majority of the cork tops are imported. A few named brand from the states are mixed in, but they are 750's.

1st be careful corking these. The neck is thinner than the ones that are corked. Personally I would not cork these.
More and more wines are going screw cap. Most from "down under" are going screw cap.
