I picked out Muscat from the back yard today, going to crush and press tonight.
Got almost exactly 100kg including stems.

Vines are all empty now, except for our row of riesling but theres only maybe 10lbs of fruit on those, most got wiped out by mildew.

Hoping this turns out to be another great vintage!

Got 50L of juice for wine and another (last off press) 5L for my wife to make jelly or similar.
pH 3.1, 1.070 SG. Will sweeten a bit and pitch yeast tomorrow.

Did more tweaking than I usually do, will see how this turns out.
I added 67g of calcium carbonate which should change my TA from 1.0 to 0.8.
Added 1.5kg sugar, and 12g fermaid
pH is now 3.3.
Using L1b-1122 yeast, which I've never used before. Our grapes tend to have a really nice floral aroma which I hope this yeast will enhance.
