Oops.......I ordered a liquid yeast from George and someone else in the household unloaded the box of goodies. The yeast was packed with a cooler bag around it. The yeast has NOT been refrigerated for about 4 days.

I found it and put it in the fridge. Is this yeast any good? Or do I need to order another yeast? It is for my Holiday Ale beer kit.

put it in some wort as a starter bottle. im guessing that will tell you.

You will want to make a starter either way but I would get another to have on hand just in case or at least a dry yeast as emergency.

Wade, I still have the yeast that came with the kit. It seems the liquid yeast to compliment the type of beer you are brewing tastes better. Maybe it is my imagination.

Most liquid yeast does a better jib but there are some very good dry yeasts also.
