I have just bottled the Kenridge showcase NZ Sauvignon Blanc and have a few questions for anyone who's made this wine
1. I noticed on the vineco website that this was classed as an early drinker. Any thoughts on when this might peak and will it last a couple of years?
2. Is the winexpert ecplise equivalent much better?

My experience with Kit Sauv Blancs is that yes, they can be drunk early (3-4) months old but really need at least 6 months. They should peak at about 1.5 years old and last at most another year before they start to taste a little tired. We can't get the Kenridge Showcase NZ Sauv Blanc here in the States but I can tell you the Eclipse NZ Sauv Blanc is the real deal. Taste just like a NZ Sauv Blanc should. It is also 18L kit vs 16L for the Kenridge. I would make the Eclipse next time around and compare! Both should be excellent.
