Just joined the forum from the UK. My first kit brew of Pinot Grigio has been on the bubble now for about a week, so I will be asking questions when I find the appropriate thread.

" On the bubble" means in lazy English, "vigorously fermenting".

For those that have asked for my location in the UK I am in Dorset, a county in the south of England bordering the English Channel.
Previously lived in Cornwall, Bristol and Birmingham where I grew up.

Spent my working life as a firefighter and retired 20 years ago.
