Is there a benefit to using dormant spray/oil on grapes?

My vineyard is in California near Sacramento and I grow Sangiovese

I have never used dormant oil spray here for grapes, but in Ca it is often used to help control disease.

Maybe someone from there will chime in and give you a suggestion.

There are different types of dormant sprays. The paraffin oil is used to kill the eggs of a lot of the insects. Copper is used to control some diseases. There may be others.

I normally use paraffin oil to spray on fruit trees.
