Head trained cab franc. 6 spurs per plant, suckered to one or two shoots per spur. (1/2 plants suckered to one shoot, the other two). Growth is vigorous and I've removed the new growth a few times already. My plan is to keep two clusters per shoot. My question is if I should limit the growth of the shoots. They are already 4-5 feet long and growing into each other. Should I just let the go, because the leaf structure is needed to support the clusters? Or do I want to limit their growth do the plant's energy goes into the fruit?

General rule of thumb - you need 15-20 leaves on a cane to ripen the fruit on the cane. You could prune back to that, but don't prune too much off.
